BROKAW CANCELS VALENCIA SPEECH.

VALENCIA - Newscaster Tom Brokaw Thomas John Brokaw (born February 6, 1940 in Webster, South Dakota) is a popular American television journalist, Previously working on regularly scheduled news documentaries for the NBC television network, and is the former NBC News anchorman and managing editor of the program  has canceled his speaking engagement at College of the Canyons' new performing arts center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. .

Brokaw, who was to speak May 25, notified the college this week that he had a scheduling conflict involving a documentary for NBC NBC
