Named an official SAP Complementary Software Program (CSP) partner, BROKAT also is the first company to receive SAP Banking BCA (Bank Customer Accounts) certification.

With interface testing completed last week at the SAP Integration and Certification Center in Walldorf, Germany, BROKAT's Twister(tm) e-services platform extends SAP processes to electronic channels, enabling SAP R/3 customers to create electronic services based on their SAP systems. The combination of Twister and SAP R/3 will provide organizations with a complete end-to-end system, including front office and back office operational solutions, for offering products and services over multiple delivery channels.

Financial institutions utilizing Twister in conjunction with the SAP BCA application will be able to offer full service banking via the Internet, personal digital assistants (PDAs), mobile phones, or other electronic delivery channels, with transactions posting directly in BCA via an online RFC-interface. BROKAT will demonstrate Internet browser access to SAP's BCA product through a JAVA user interface and present the PDA (based on Windows(c) CE) as a new banking delivery channel at SAPPHIRE '99 in Philadelphia next week.

The Component Builder also was used to create a new business process and a custom Internet interface into SAP's Sale and Distribution application, reducing the time required to conduct a product order by more than 75 percent and allowing customers to place orders directly.
