NOVATO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 1997--Broderbund Software (NASDAQ: BROD), a leading publisher of educational, productivity and entertainment software, has selected InterWorld's Internet commerce software, Oasis(TM), to provide electronic software sales and delivery. InterWorld was chosen based on its large variety of applications and true end-to-end software solution, including scaleable architecture, development tools, an integrated transaction processing engine and catalog and electronic software distribution applications.

Initially, Broderbund will utilize Oasis to market and sell its award-winning software through the World Wide Web.
