Although The Print Shop(r) Ensemble II remains the top of the line, Broderbund is offering The Print Shop(r) Deluxe II, and The Print Shop(r) for up to $50 less than Ensemble II. -0-

    One of the driving forces for this expansion of The Print Shop
line was customer requests to make more versions available for users
at a variety of price points.  This is especially true in the
education market, where funds often are not available to update
classroom computer hardware and software as quickly as the consumer
market.
    "Our goal was simple.  We wanted to make more versions of The
Print Shop available to more potential users," said Richard
Whittaker, executive publisher and vice president of Broderbund

Ensemble II is still the most-powerful tool for the SOHO (Small
Office/Home Office) market and home users, but we saw a need to
provide versions at lower prices for other potential users of The
Print Shop."

Rebates and Other Merchandising Offers

    In order to generate excitement about the new versions of The
Print Shop series, Broderbund will conduct an extensive advertising
and merchandising campaign that will include a rebate offer.  With
the additional rebate, customers will be able to experience The Print
Shop for as little as $19.95!  The rebate program will occur between
March 1 and August 31.

Availability

Broderbund will ship these new versions of The Print Shop to stores in March. All versions perform well for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 users. The Print Shop Deluxe CD Ensemble is already available to Macintosh users for approximately $79.95. Broderbund also will continue to offer a wide variety of Graphics Folios, allowing users to customize The Print Shop products for their specific needs.
