 BROCK EXPLORATION CORPORATION CONTINUES TO REPORT POSITIVE EARNINGS
 NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Brock Exploration Corporation (PSE: BKE), headquartered in New Orleans, reported net income of $129,000 or $.03 per share on revenues of $2.6 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31.
 These results compare with net income of $540,000 or $.14 per share on revenues of $3.4 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 1990.
 Net income for the nine months ended Dec. 31 was $248,000 or $.06 per share on revenues of $6.0 million as compared to last year's nine-month net income of $868,000 or $.22 on revenues of $9.1 million.
 Brock has acquired an interest in the Calumet Field, a proposed secondary recovery project, in Canadian County, Okla. Acquisition costs plus future costs to implement the waterflood will be approximately $2.6 million.
 This makes a total of eight secondary projects in which Brock has acquired an interest during the past year. Four of the projects are in the Permian Basin, three in West Central Texas and one in Canadian County, Okla.
 The acquisition and development costs for all eight projects is expected to total $5.9 million. The remaining portion of these expenditures will be required over the next 24 months. Brock expects its daily oil production to increase by 600 BOPD during the next two years as these projects begin to respond.
 Brock is continuing to look for additional secondary projects as well as gas production in the Mid Continent area.

 Product prices declined (33.9 percent for oil and 1.2 percent for gas) for the quarter and (17.7 percent for oil and 4.6 percent for gas) for the first nine months of fiscal 1992 over fiscal 1991. Gas volumes produced declined for both the quarter and the nine-month period (7.6 percent and 19.6 percent) ended Dec. 31, 1991, while oil production increased (.4 percent and 6.9 percent) for the comparable periods. Revenue for the current nine-month period contains a $62,000 non-recoupable take-or-payment settlement, while the 1990 period has a similar settlement representing $509,000.
