BROCK CEMENTS IAS AGREEMENT WITH IBM
ATLANTA, April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Brock Control Systems, Inc. has

signed an Industry Application Specialist (IAS) agreement with International Business Machines Corporation (IBM).
Under this agreement, Brock will market, sell and support its own software product line, the Brock Activity Manager Series(TM). IBM will handle comparable activities for its Unix-based RS/6000 line of computers.
"Brock has been identified by IBM as a world-class industry provider of 'closed-loop' information management systems," said IBM Senior Marketing Representative Charlie Long. "Our new IAS relationship provides an excellent opportunity for both players to leverage and jointly penetrate the open systems marketplace."
Demonstrating its commitment to open systems, Brock recently declared technical environmental compatibility with all computers and operating systems, networks and communication devices, relational database systems, user interfaces and automated telephone equipment. Similarly, IBM's introduction of the RS/6000 machine validates Big Blue's commitment to open systems.
The Activity Manager Series(TM) is a system solution to automate and support the areas of database marketing, telemarketing, sales account management, marketing information -- in effect, a company's complete business cycle. The product is a mission-critical business application offering the competitive edge to companies understanding the strategic value of an automated, integrated sales, marketing and service environment.
Brock's cross-industry client base of more than 700 customers and 10,000 individual users represents the largest installed base of multi-user systems in the industry. The company provides an integrated family of software products offering "closed-loop" information management for sales, marketing and customer service in more than 15 different countries using seven different languages. Headquartered in Atlanta, Brock has offices in Los Angeles and affiliate offices in Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Italy, New Zealand, Scotland and Sweden.
