Amino resin products. Amino resin products have been introduced to the tire industry. Cost saving methods to achieve equal or better wire adhesion and rubber coverage in a system without cobalt or methylene acceptor acceptor - Finite State Machine  resins is featured in the company's one-page bulletin. The company also offers Cyrez CRA-100 resin, a silica-based powder concentrate for conventional resin systems that offers 72% load capacity and is dustless and free-flowing; and Cyrez CRA See Community Reinvestment Act.  132 and Cyrez CRA 138, single-component resins that are self-condensing and eliminate the need for acceptor resins in wire adhesion applications. Hydrocarbon resins. The company's Technical Solutions catalog features Norsolene hydrocarbon resins for easier processing of SBR SBR - Spectral Band Replication , nitrile, chloroprene chloroprene (klōr`əprēn') or 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene, colorless liquid organic compound used in the synthesis of neoprene and certain other rubbers.  and natural rubber. Information is provided on Norsolene hydrocarbon resins, including purely aromatic resins (S series) and hybrid resins (A and I series). Norsolene resins are light-colored and heat-stable, and offer a wide spectrum of softening points (85-155 [degrees] C) to aid the processing of extruded, molded or calendered cal·en·der

rubber parts. In addition to aiding rubber processing, these resins can be used to enhance green tack, the incorporation and dispersion of fillers, and as mechanical reinforcers. The catalog is said to enable chemists to easily reference the company's broad line of Norsolene hydrocarbon resins by product code or name, product applications, typical properties, solubility data and/ or compatibility data. Aqueous adhesives. The latest issue of the company's six-page, four-color newsletter examines how aqueous adhesives can assist companies in updating their manufacturing processes to comply with environmental legislation. Chemlok aqueous adhesives replace solvent-based adhesives in many applications. Two case studies are presented, including a company that uses Chemlok on all its bonded rubber-to-metal components.(Lord)

Melt-processible rubber. This six-page, four-color brochure summarizes the high-performance capabilities of Alcryn MPR (MultiProtocol Router) Software from Novell that provides router capabilities for its NetWare servers. It supports IPX, IP, AppleTalk and OSI protocols as well as all the major LANs and WANs.  for product applications spanning the automotive, tools and appliances, architectural, lawn and garden, and wire and cable industries. The literature explains how manufacturers and part fabricators are using Alcryn MPR to simplify the manufacturing process, reduce costs and boost production. It also provides comparative data that demonstrates why Alcryn MPR is said to be the alternative to soft thermoplastic elastomers and vulcanized rubber, by providing superior durability and processing easily on standard plastics machinery. The brochure includes test results which show that Alcryn MPR outperforms many general purpose and mid-performance vulcanized rubbers in durability and resistance to weather, ozone, UV light, chemicals, oil and gasoline in applications up to 125 [degrees] C.  1045 carbon black, said to feature superior hot tear strength, improved processing and excellent dispersion for a variety of hose, belt and molded applications, is featured in a two-page bulletin. IRX 1045 carbon black exhibits higher modulus at equal elongation or higher elongation at equal modulus, according to the literature. This feature, combined with high electrical resistivity, is said to allow compounds using IRX 1045 carbon black to pass the difficult requirements of the automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  coolant hose specifications. IRX 1045 carbon black is also said to reduce scrap by improving the hot tear strength of peroxide-cured EPDM coolant hoses, thereby allowing for easier mandrel mandrel /man·drel/ (man´dril) the shaft on which a dental tool is held in the dental handpiece, for rotation by the dental engine.
