BROADWAY STARS TO CLOSE CONCERTS IN PARK SEASON.

The 1998 season finale of Warner Center Park's Concerts in the Park series today will feature a musical-theater salute with a 24-piece orchestra and celebrity performers.

The performance will showcase the vocals of three seasoned Broadway talents - Pam Dawber Pam Dawber (October 18, 1951 in Farmington Hills, Michigan) is an American actress, best known for her role as Mindy McConnell in Mork & Mindy. Biography , Nancy Dussault Nancy Dussault (born June 30 1936 in Pensacola, Florida) is an American singer and actress. She grew up as a "Navy junior".

In 1962, Dussault stepped into the role of Maria in the Broadway production of The Sound of Music.

During today's concert, a commemorative tile will be presented to the Valley Cultural Center by the board members of the Woodland Hills Homeowners Organization. The gift, in honor of the community enrichment that the Concerts in the Park summer series has produced, will be presented in a ceremony during intermission at 6:30 p.m.

The tile eventually will be embedded in the walkway in front of the Warner Center Park bandstand.

Concertgoers should bring their own chairs and blankets for festival seating.

The concert is free. Food and drinks will be sold at the park. Parking is available for $2 in a nearby Warner Center structure.
