BRINK, HUDSON & LEFEVER LTD. ANNOUNCE NEW TAIWANESE OWNERSHIP -- THE BRIDGE TO ASIAN INVESTMENT

 VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Brian Graves, president, Brink, Hudson & Lefever Ltd., today announced that all necessary regulatory approvals had been received by the company for the satisfactory completion of their sale of 50 percent of the ownership of the Vancouver brokerage firm to Bayshore Pacific Capital Corp. and that the purchase arrangements were concluded this morning.
 Bayshore Pacific Capital Corp. is owned jointly by James Hung, president and chief executive officer of Asia Securities Inc., Taiwan, and John Hardyment, chairman and chief executive officer of the Taipei- based, Bayshore Pacific Group. Hardyment, formerly of Vancouver, currently resides in Taipei.
 Graves said that with the successful completion of this ownership sale transaction, Brink, Hudson & Lefever is now best-positioned to bridge the broad scope of investment opportunities between the particularly active and burgeoning Asian markets and those of North America.
