BRIG. GEN. ROBERT CHRISJOHN APPOINTED DEPUTY ADJUTANT GENERAL FOR AIR
 FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Gov. Robert P. Casey today announced the appointment of Brig. Gen. Robert G. Chrisjohn Jr. of Coraopolis, Allegheny County, as Deputy Adjutant General-Air, Pennsylvania National Guard.
 Chrisjohn most recently served as commander of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard's 171st Air Refueling Wing, headquartered at Pittsburgh International Airport.
 Chrisjohn is responsible for advising the Adjutant General in the administration of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. In addition, he provides the command, control and supervision needed to accomplish both the federal and state missions of the Air Guard.
 A command pilot, Chrisjohn has flown over 3,000 hours in training and fighter aircraft, as well as the KC-135 air-refueling plane.
 The Iowa native received a bachelor's degree in military science from the University of Omaha in 1966. He enlisted in the National Guard in 1962.
 Chrisjohn is married to the former Janet Brown of Des Moines, Iowa. They have two children, Stephanie and Anne.
