A.V. man is killed in crash of truck

 Acres man died early Wednesday morning when his truck overturned after hitting a curb on a rural Lancaster Road.

Sheriff's deputies said Carl Deck, 40, was headed north on 50th Street West when he apparently ran a stop sign and lost control of his truck after it hit a curb at Avenue G. The truck continued along the east shoulder of Avenue G and hit a perimeter fence perimeter fence perimeter nUmzäunung f  at William J. Fox Airfield. The vehicle traveled more than 185 feet and rolled over several times after leaving the roadway.

Deck, who suffered massive injuries to his head and upper body, was pronounced dead at the scene.
