High-speed chase ends with arrest

CHP officers apprehended Francisco Camarillo after he attempted to flee the crash scene near Avenue G and 10th Street West. Smith's truck spun out of control after the right rear of his truck clipped the left front of the other vehicle, crashing through a fence onto a residential property, where it hit and killed a horse, the report said. Smith suffered a neck injury and was pronounced dead at the scene.
