BURBANK - A 28-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after police discovered an explosive device in his pickup truck at a fast food restaurant.

The man was booked at Burbank police headquarters on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of a destructive device and possession of a loaded firearm, Sgt. Scott Wilson said.

Mission College set to open new library

DA's Office delays firing of prosecutor

The District Attorney's Office has decided to delay firing prosecutor Lawrence M. Longo to give investigators a chance to broaden their inquiries into his dealings with Death Row Records founder Marion ``Suge'' Knight.

The District Attorney's Office had told Longo it would fire him because financial dealings between him and Knight created the appearance of impropriety Appearance of impropriety is a term often used in reference to a situation whose ethics is deemed questionable.
