BRIEFLY.Reagan Library sets three events SIMI VALLEY -- Three free community events are scheduled this summer at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, including a concert at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday by the Golden Gate Boys Choir and Bellringers. Visitors at the Amateur Radio Relay League event from 11 a.m. Saturday through noon June 25 will be able to listen to the radio communications and talk to stations in other countries. The July 4 celebration is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with family entertainment, presidential look-alikes, face-painting, storytelling and patriotic concerts by the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West and the Los Angeles Police Department Band. -- Daily News Beach bus ready for summer trips MOORPARK -- The Moorpark Summer Beach Bus to Zuma Beach will begin Tuesday, with two trips each morning and afternoon. The beach bus, which will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 29, costs $1 each way for adults and students and 50 cents for seniors. Summer Youth Passes are also on sale for $20, offering unlimited travel on Moorpark City Transit buses. The beach bus picks up and drops off riders at College View Park, Moorpark Civic Center, Arroyo Vista Community Park and Peach Hill Park. The multipurpose room can accommodate 175 people at round tables or 300 people in theater-style seating, and it has an oak floor for events that include dancing. There is a full-service kitchen for banquets adjacent to the multipurpose room, and there is a partly covered courtyard that can extend the party space. There are also smaller conference rooms, along with classrooms and meeting rooms.
