Planning session set

for Rosetta Place Park

Residents who live around Rosetta Place Park in the River Road area are invited at 6:30 p.m. today to share their ideas for improving the park.

The city parks staff wants to know what neighbors would like to see in the park, landscape architect Philip Richardson Sir Philip Wigham Richardson, 1st Baronet (January 26, 1865 - November 23, 1953) was a British sport shooter and Conservative politician.

Richardson competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics and 1912 Summer Olympics.
 said. "We then take this info, work up a concept plan and bring it back to the neighbors in a second workshop" in late summer, he said.

The park, on Evergreen evergreen, term commonly used as synonymous with conifer and applied also to all those broad-leaved plants that bear green leaves throughout the year. Of the latter, most are plants of the tropics, subtropics, and other areas where the growing season is prolonged (e.  Street west of River Road, is due to be improved in summer 2007.

Volunteer orientation

planned by Red Cross

The Oregon Pacific Chapter of the American Red Cross American Red Cross: see Red Cross.  will offer a free volunteer orientation class Thursday and Saturday.

The volunteer orientation class will be offered from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and again from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday at the local Red Cross office, 862 Bethel Bethel, in the Bible
Bethel (bĕth`əl) [Heb.,=house of God].
