Man gets 50 years for slaying teen

LANCASTER - The convicted shooter in a gang-related slaying of a teenager who was gunned down as he drove away from a friend's Lake Los Angeles house was sentenced Thursday to 50 years to life in prison.

Jose Medina, 25, was sentenced in the January 2004 slaying of 18-year- old Ernesto Barba, who was shot and killed after a fight with a group of men who had been standing outside a house where he went to retrieve a music CD See audio CD..

Co-defendants George Marron and Raymond Vallejo Vallejo (vălā`hō, –lā`ō, və–), city (1990 pop. 109,199), Solano co., W Calif., on San Pablo Bay at the mouth of the Napa River; inc. 1866. It is a port and a trade and processing center for farm products; flour-milling and meatpacking are significant industries., both 24, were sentenced last week to 50 years to life in prison.
