Wall Project slide show, talk set for Wednesday

Beyond War staffer Kate Wearn will present a slide show of her travels with The Wall Project to Hiroshima Peace Park in Hiroshima, Japan, for the 60th anniversary of the bombing of that city and Nagasaki. The event will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the EWEB EWEB Eugene Water and Electric Board (Oregon)  Training Room, 500 E. Fourth Ave.

The Wall symbolizes support for international law and the call for progress toward nuclear disarmament nuclear disarmament: see disarmament, nuclear. .

Dr. Frank Turner Frank Turner is a musician born in Bahrain and educated at Eton College, and studied History at the London School of Economics . He has toured the UK extensively, and has completed several tours of Central and Eastern Europe since the demise of his former band Million Dead.  will interview Wearn as she describes her experiences. A discussion will follow.
