Three suspects arrested in gas station robbery

The Lane County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday night that it has arrested three people in connection with a Memorial Day robbery but is looking for a fourth man who investigators also believe is connected to the case.

Before 5 a.m. Monday, an attendant at the Exxon gas station on McVay Highway south of Glenwood went to wait on a car, sheriff's deputies say. A man from the car confronted the attendant with a handgun, then knocked him out. Cash was taken from the business.

The sheriff's office arrested Alven Hope, 27; Melissa Hope 23; and Adam Crawford, 16, all of Eugene, and charged each with robbery, kidnapping, assault, burglary and conspiracy charges.

The sheriff's office is still seeking Edward Dungan, 18, in connection with the case. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the sheriff's office, 682-4150.
