Center offers counseling class
for children of divorce, separation
The Center for Community Counseling is offering a class on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for children ages 5 to 13 whose parents are divorced or separated.
Children will have the opportunity to express their thoughts about their parents' situation, share with other children, learn about the legal aspects of the separation from a family practice lawyer, and use art therapy and writing to express their feelings.
There will be an elementary and middle school group with free, on-site child care for ages 4 and under. Class fees are based on a sliding scale.

Alzheimer's meeting, discussion set for Wednesday at First United
The Alzheimer's Association's "Spotlight on Alzheimer's" series continues at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, 1376 Olive St., Eugene.
Actors from Impact Arts will perform real-life dramas focusing on issues of Alzheimer's disease and caring, followed by discussion. The meeting is open to the public. For information, call 345-8392.
