Woman dies after falling out of car

PANORAMA CITY - A Panorama City woman was killed Saturday when she fell out of a car and was run over while arguing with the driver, police said.

Nelfar Erendira, 21, also known as Paulina Chatu Figureoa, was killed about 2:30 a.m. after falling out of the passenger's side door of the car driven by Omar Guerrero Lopez, 24, of North Hollywood.

Police said the car had been headed south on Van Nuys Boulevard. Erendira opened the door, and the driver turned left onto Woodman Avenue.

Lopez was arrested about eight hours later on suspicion of felony hit and run. Police said he drove away from the scene without trying to help Erendira and without calling police or paramedics.
