For reservations, call (800) 773-8724. - Daily News Volunteers sought for meal delivery The Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center is in need of volunteer drivers to serve a minimum of 2 1/2 hours a week delivering Home Delivered Meals to the homebound. Drivers must be available from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. one day per week. Every Monday through Friday, the SCV Senior Center delivers approximately 300 meals daily in the Santa Clarita Valley. For many homebound residents, the volunteer driver may be the only person that senior will see that day, and lives are often saved through this one-on-one delivery system. McBean Parkway, Valencia. The race/walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. following city trails along the Santa Clara River, behind Creekside Drive and under Magic Mountain Parkway.
