Willie Nelson goes back

on the road to Eugene

Willie Nelson has been booked for a Sept. 19 performance at the Cuthbert Amphitheater.

Tickets, at $45, will go on sale July 16 through all Hult Center outlets.

The Motet will perform

at post-fair concert

The Motet will perform on the main stage at the Oregon Country Fair The Oregon Country Fair (OCF) is a three-day fair that takes place yearly beginning on the Friday of the second weekend in July in Veneta, Oregon, approximately 15 miles west of Eugene, with an attendance of approximately 45,000 over the three day period, with attendance peaking  on Saturday, then rest up and play a post-fair party at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the WOW Hall, 291 W. Eighth Ave.

Advance tickets are $10.

Jazz guitarist Jazz guitarists are guitar players who play jazz music using an approach to playing chords, melodies, and improvised solo lines which is called jazz guitar playing. The guitar has a long history in jazz music, both as an ensemble instrument performing chordal accompaniment, and as  will play a set at Oakway courtyard

Jazz singer sets shows

in Eugene and Florence

Jazz singer Cheryl Hodge will perform with guitarist John Stowell at 8 p.m. Thursday at Luna, 30 E. Broadway.

The cover charge is $8.

Hodge also will perform with saxophonist Paul Biondi at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Waterfront Depot, 1252 Bay St., Florence. There's no cover charge.

Opry rounds up five acts for Bethel school benefit

The Western Oregon Opry will bring five country music acts to Eugene on Saturday for a 6:30 p.m. show in Powers Auditorium at Willamette High School Willamette High School is a school in Eugene, Oregon.

Willamette, or "Wil-Hi," is located in the Bethel-Danebo area of west Eugene, and is the only high school in the Bethel School District.

On the bill: the Jim Dandys, the Country Sky Lighters, the Lemon Sisters, Norm Coyer & Skip Wolf and Annie's Band. Admission is $5 for the public, $4 for seniors, $2 for children and teens (ages 7 through 16) and free for children 6 and younger.
