BRIEFLY.Byline: The Register-Guard Seminar offers ways to deal with stress The Life of Learning Foundation, a nonprofit organization, will sponsor an ongoing seminar beginning Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Lux Studio, 109 W. Sixth Ave. in Eugene. The seminar is open to the public and a $3 tax-deductible donation is requested, although no one will be turned away. Unity Covered Bridge closed for repairs LOWELL - The Unity Covered Bridge on Jasper-Lowell Road will be closed Monday through Thursday to allow for repair work. The project will begin at 7:30 a.m. Monday and close the road at its intersection with Place Road to just north of the bridge until 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The Lane County Public Works bridge maintenance crew will be replacing decking boards on the south approach to the bridge. Poodle Creek Pickers to perform in Veneta VENETA - The Poodle Creek Pickers will perform a free concert here Tuesday. The all-ages performance will begin at 7 p.m. at the Fern Ridge Library, 88026 Territorial Road. The fiddling event is sponsored by the library's Adult Services Program.
