All-European Car Show to help education fund

COBURG - The fourth annual All-European Car Show, sponsored by the European Car Council of Oregon, will be held Saturday at Norma Pfeiffer Park in Coburg. Any European car of any age may be entered.

Registration, which costs $20, will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Awards will be presented at 3:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Coburg Education Fund.

Hike set for Saturday

in Last Creek area

A hike will be held Saturday in the Last Creek roadless area. Participants can meet at 9 a.m. behind the Douglas County Courthouse in Roseburg, at 10 a.m. at the Promise Foods Store in Canyonville or at 10:30 a.m. at the Tiller Ranger Station.

The hike is rated easy. Hikers should bring lunch, water and sunscreen.
