The tree fell on the lines in the 13300 block of Burbank Boulevard that afternoon, according to KABC KABC Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children (Channel 7). Department of Water and Power crews had to take down other lines to make the appropriate repairs, the station reported. Police officers were sent to control traffic at major intersections where traffic lights were out. Developers will build about 1,300 units in Los Angeles, Canoga Park, Lancaster,San Fernando, Sylmar and other locations with the assistance of $10.3 million in Affordable Housing Program grants. -- City News Service Officials ID body found below cliff RANCHO PALOS VERDES Rancho Pal·os Ver·des A city of southern California on a channel of the Pacific Ocean west of Long Beach. Population: 42,100. -- A 36-year-old man whose body was found at the bottom of a cliff in Rancho Palos Verdes was identified Tuesday night as Ruben Pulido Jr. of Rolling Hills Estates by the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner. Pulido's body was found around noon Monday by firefighters who were in the area to rescue a woman whose car went over the cliff, but the two incidents do not seem to be related, Los Angeles County Fire Department Not to be confused with Los Angeles Fire Department.
