Help sought for missing man, 46

RESEDA -- Police are seeking the public's help in finding a 46-year-old man last seen July 7 leaving his Reseda home.

Fred Lee Lewis, 46, left his house in the 8000 block of Canby Avenue more than two weeks ago. He called his family on July 8 at 6 p.m. to let them know he was on his way home from work.

Lewis is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with brown eyes Brown Eyes (브라운 아이즈) was a Korean musical duo, specializing in ballads. Although both members have powerful voices, they were initially disregarded because of their physical looks.  and a beard.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Missing Persons Unit, Detective Bruce Kuehl at (213) 485-5381.

Suspect sought in two shootings

GLENDALE -- Two men were shot outside a local night club over the weekend, and police were looking Monday for the suspect.

The victims, both in their mid-30s, were shot early Saturday during an argument outside the Hypnotic Lounge, 617 S. Brand Blvd., police said.

Both were treated at a local hospital and released.

Detectives did not provide a description of the suspect.

Woman pleads not guilty in case

BURBANK -- A Burbank woman who is eight months pregnant pleaded not guilty Monday to charges in connection with a scuffle over a $5 fee that led to the death of a 75-year-old parking attendant, prosecutors said.

Hilda Voskanian, 31, was arraigned in Burbank Superior Court on a charge of involuntary manslaughter The act of unlawfully killing another human being unintentionally.

Most unintentional killings are not murder but involuntary manslaughter. The absence of the element of intent is the key distinguishing factor between voluntary and involuntary manslaughter.
. She was held on $25,000 bail and could face up to four years in prison if convicted.

Voskanian and her husband, Oshin Grigorian, 35, were arrested last week in connection with the June 30 assault of Pedro Dorado. Police said he suffered a head injury in an altercation with the couple outside a Burbank reception hall over the parking fee.

Dorado fell into a coma and died July 18.

Prosecutors declined to file charges against Grigorian.

Standoff suspect to stand trial

San Fernando Superior Court Judge Ronald S. Coen found sufficient evidence to require Edwardo Medina, 23, to stand trial on kidnapping for ransom, attempted kidnapping for ransom and robbery counts.
