Masked men rob bank in Camarillo

Officials said the men walked in the bank's front door at 4:25 p.m. and demanded the customers and employees lie on the floor. Two robbers jumped over the counter and began emptying the cash drawers and the other ordered one of the managers to take him to the vault.

It was unclear whether the men were armed. No one was injured.

BFI BFI - brute force and ignorance  fined after asbestos found

SUN VALLEY - Browning Ferris Industries will pay nearly $5,200 in fines and fees and be sentenced to 18 months probation for improperly storing asbestos at its Sun Valley truck repair yard, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office announced.

The City Attorney's Office filed criminal charges against BFI after environmental inspectors found a small quantity of asbestos in a closed container and improper vapor recovery equipment on an underground gas tank. BFI pleaded no contest to the charges.
