So many cultures, one festival for all

MOORPARK - A festival of multicultural entertainment and education is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moorpark College Moorpark College is a California-state funded community college located on a 134 acre (542,000 m²) property reclining on a hill in Moorpark, a town in Ventura County, California. , 7075 Campus Road.

The event is designed to promote global cultural understanding through music, dance, art, poetry, panel discussions, international foods and crafts.

County fair fetes 'Heart of Country'

VENTURA - ``Heart of the Country'' has been chosen as the theme for the 2006 Ventura County Fair, slated for Aug. 2-13.

``We think the 'Heart of the Country' theme illustrates what we are, a good old country fair,'' said Craig Underwood, president of the fair board.

OXNARD - Tickets are available for the California Strawberry Festival A Strawberry Festival is an event and celebration in many towns in North America. In most instances, areas around these towns are, or have been, deeply involved in the production and marketing of strawberries, and the festivals are usually held in late spring around the time of the  on May 20 and 21 at Strawberry Meadows, 3250 S.
