Holiday store hit by men in makeup makeup

In the performing arts, material used by actors for cosmetic purposes and to help create the characters they play. Not needed in Greek and Roman theatre because of the use of masks, makeup was used in the religious plays of medieval Europe, in which the angels' faces
 

LANCASTER - Two armed men robbed the Party America Party America is a chain of stores that supply goods for special occasions (ie:birthday, graduation, holidays.) There are 144 total Party America stores (not counting Paper Warehouse, the party store chain Party America owns) And they are located in 46 states(counting Paper  store in the Valley Central Shopping Center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into  on Saturday night, deputies said Monday.

The men, both dressed in black clothing and wearing dark green and black makeup, robbed the store at 9:45 p.m. Saturday of an undisclosed amount of cash after tying up four employees and locking them inside an office. Before the robbery, the two men had appeared to be shopping, and, because of the holiday, the men's clothing and makeup did not raise suspicions, deputies said.

One of the employees called for help using a cell phone.

The two robbers were described as young, possibly between 16 and 20 years old. Both were between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches in height and weighed about 135 to 150 pounds.

Westside schools candidates to talk

QUARTZ HILL - A candidate forum for the Westside Union School District board election will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the multipurpose room at Joe Walker Middle School, 5632 W. Ave. L-8.

The forum is being sponsored by associations and other organizations of parents, teachers and students in the district.

Incumbent Christine LeBeau is facing challengers Paul Cramer, John Curiel, Steven DeMarzio, Linda Jones and Joan Sodergren in the Nov. 8 election.
