Restaurant to aid Red Cross efforts

PALMDALE - Money will be raised for Hurricane Katrina victims on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Steer 'n Stein restaurant, 2162 E. Palmdale Blvd.

A portion of sales between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. those days will be donated to the American Red Cross. The benefit is part of the restaurant's Steak Aid program, in which nonprofit organizations can raise funds through diners at the restaurant.
