Blaze damages strip-mall units

TARZANA - Firefighters put out a blaze that damaged at least two units at a Tarzana strip mall Sunday, a fire official said.

About 75 firefighters were sent to 19235 W. Ventura Blvd. after the fire was reported at 7:01 a.m., said Jim Wells of the Los Angeles Fire Department The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), also known as the Los Angeles City Fire Department to distinguish it from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Disabled driver in freeway chase

A suspected drunken driver with one arm and two prosthetic legs led California Highway Patrol officers on a 15-minute freeway chase before surrendering early Sunday, authorities said.

2 adults, 2 kids injured in crash

VALENCIA - Four people, including two children, were critically injured Sunday when their minivan was broadsided by a big-rig on the Golden State Freeway The Golden State Freeway is a north-south freeway running through Kern County and Los Angeles County, California.
