Pit bull victim's condition stable

QUARTZ HILL - A woman mauled by a neighbor's pit bull continued to be listed in stable condition, and doctors think they saved her arm, a sheriff's detective said Wednesday.

Kimberly Beatrice, 47, was attacked by the dog in the front yard of her home in the 4700 block of West Avenue about 7 p.m. Monday, said Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County sheriff's Lt. Detective Kevin Turrill said Beatrice remained in the intensive care unit of Providence Holy Cross Medical Center Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is a hospital in Mission Hills, California, USA. He said doctors expected to operate on her arm again, but that at this point it ``appears her arm has been saved.''

He said he will talk to prosecutors about possibly filing charges against the animal's owner.

Deputies stopped the attack by shooting the dog.

Man enters plea in naked scamper

LANCASTER - A former JetHawks radio announcer accused of chasing a woman naked across a supermarket parking lot was placed on probation Tuesday after pleading Asking a court to grant relief.
