Gunfire leaves teen boy dead

GLENDALE - One teenage boy died and another was in serious condition after a shooting at the intersection intersection /in·ter·sec·tion/ (-sek´shun) a site at which one structure crosses another.

Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said officers were called to the intersection at 9:35 p.m. Thursday after neighbors called to report gunfire.

They found one boy with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was in serious condition. The other boy was found behind a nearby house, where he apparently fled after being shot. He later died from his wounds, Lorenz said.

Police are not releasing their identities until relatives are notified.

Killing reported in Agoura Hills

AGOURA HILLS - A man died as the result of a shooting in Agoura Hills Friday night, officials said.
