Partida and complex resident David Nathaniel Devereaux, 19, were armed with knives and squared off in the parking lot, police said.

The fight was an aftermath to the shooting death of Scott William Boyko, 37, at 9:40 a.m. Accusations were made that some residents had helped police locate Boyko, Springfield police Sgt. Rick Putnam said.

Police are still investigating the circumstances around the shooting of Boyko, Putnam said.
