Lane County officers help search for woman

ROSEBURG - Members of the Lane County sheriff's search and rescue team on Friday joined the search for a Eugene woman missing in the Boulder Creek Wilderness The Boulder Creek Wilderness is located in the Umpqua National Forest in the southern Cascade Range of Oregon, U.S..  Area near Roseburg.

Alayna Hamilton, 25, told her sister in an e-mail that she was going on a day hike in the area Tuesday. The sister called the Douglas County Douglas County is the name of twelve counties in the United States:

Oregon health officials are warning the public about the risks associated with eating raw oysters.

Most report eating raw oysters at restaurants in Portland or Medford. In the past week, more than 15 cases have also been reported among residents of Washington and British Columbia.

Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a bacterium that is naturally present in many marine waters, including the Pacific Coast.
