 traffic on Franklin Boulevard near McVay Highway will be closed today so that crews can complete a new sidewalk. The lane will close at 8:30 a.m. today and reopen at 7:30 a.m. Friday.

Delays are expected during peak travel times.

The construction is related to Lane Transit District's EmX rapid bus project.

Sunday picnic to kick off Oregon Wilderness Week

The Oregon Natural Resources Council will host a picnic from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Mount Pisgah Mount Pisgah is the name of several mountains and places: Mountains
