Terry Beyer and Phil Barnhart will host a forum focused on the Medicare Prescription Drug Program (Part D) at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Willamalane Adult Activity Center, 215 W. C Street. The forum will have experts from around the state explain the new Medicare prescription drug program and other programs to help seniors with the increased prices of prescription drugs. The new Medicare prescription drug plan will be discussed by Cynthia Hylton of Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance. Morrisette will discuss enrollment in Oregon's new prescription drug pool and other services the organization offers to seniors. All residents are invited to attend and encouraged to participate.
