Women Voters to discuss health issues at meetings

"Physical and Mental Health in Lane County and the State of Oregon" is the topic of the League of Women Voters of Lane County's April unit meetings. Unit meetings are open to members and guests.

On Monday, Unit 1 will meet at 10 a.m. at 339 W. 22nd Ave., Eugene; Unit 6 at 11 a.m., 1235 Fir Acres Drive, Eugene; and Unit 2 at 11:30 a.m., 2050 Madison St., Eugene.

Unit 3 will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at 1527 Corum Ave., Eugene.

Everyone is welcome at the monthly "Meet the Chief" event from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Lehner holds the events the first Wednesday of each month in a different part of town to provide residents a chance to speak one-on-one with their city's top cop.
