Businesswomen sponsor afternoon tea as benefit

The event will be at the Coburg Inn and will include tea, finger foods, a hand-decorated hat, a fashion show and 15 exhibitors.

AARP AARP, a nonprofit, nonpartisan national organization dedicated to "enriching the experience of aging"; membership is open to people age 50 or older. The AARP is offering refresher courses designed for drivers age 50 and older. Some auto insurance companies provide a discount to graduates of the course.

The eight-hour courses are taught in two, four-hour sessions spanning two days.

The cost is $10. There are no tests. The courses are open to AARP members and nonmembers.
