The 15-member budget committee reviews the budget and plans for the human services programs it sponsors. The positions are four-year terms. The group generally meets monthly, with the possibility of more frequent sessions during budget and planning cycles. The committee includes five public officials or their designees; five advocates of low-income and human services; and five with backgrounds such as clergy, health care and criminal justice.
