A contractor demolishing a house in this coastal city found a glass jar on Monday holding what appear to be two human fingers or toes. The jar was buried near the foundation of a house at 1965 28th St. It appears to have been there for some time. The jar and its contents are now at the Coos County Medical Examiner's Office, where they will be examined to determine whether the digits really are human or not. Detectives don't suspect a crime yet. |
