universe in a new light

"Different Light," a new planetarium show that explores the cosmos through the lenses of a new generation of telescopes, will debut Saturday at the Science Factory Children's Museum & Planetarium, 2300 Leo Harris Parkway.

These telescopes depict the universe in X-rays, ultraviolet light, infrared, radio and even gamma rays, according to a Science Factory news release.

Shows are 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $4, $3 for seniors and free for members and children younger than 3 years old.

REEDSPORT - Rhys Thomas will bring his physical comedy of physics, otherwise known as "JuggleMania," to Reedsport's Pacific Auditorium, 2260 Longwood Drive, at 6:30 p.m. today.
