The new show at the Planetarium at the Science Factory, called "Are We Alone?' will open at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The opening is delayed a day because of the Oregon-Montana football game Saturday at Autzen Stadium The stadium is tucked between the Willamette River and Coburg Hills. The uniquely shaped bowl blends in with the wooded Eugene landscape. The shape also allows for unique acoustics, making it one of the loudest stadiums in NCAA Football for its capacity. .

The Science Factory, 2300 Leo Harris Leo A. Harris (August 6 1904 – April 22 1990) was an American college football player and coach, and the first athletic director for the University of Oregon. Playing and coaching career  Parkway, will be closed every Saturday this month due to Oregon Duck home football games.

Casino hosts celebration

of Indian tribal culture

NORTH BEND North Bend is the name of several places in the United States of America:

 - Tribal teams will race canoes along the Coos Bay waterfront as part of the Mill-Luck Salmon Celebration this weekend at the Mill Casino.

Tribal members from Oregon and the Northwest will compete in heats beginning at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The festival also will feature a salmon bake, American Indian artisans, drum and dancing demonstrations, storytellers and sessions on traditional stick games and the Chinook Chinook, indigenous people of North America

American Indian flutist Robert Mirabal will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday. All events except the Mirabal concert and the salmon bake are free. For dinner or concert tickets, call (800) 953-4800.
