Umpqua Bank parent company posts quarter-earnings boost

Natural gas prices expected to rise for heating season

Utility managers told the state Public Utility Commission to expect increases in the range of 4 percent to 12 percent in what has been a volatile market for one of the main sources for home heating and fuel for electrical power generation around the nation.
