Grant, Barrymore star in library's Teen Pick

SPRINGFIELD - Teens are invited to Teen Picks: Movies at the Library, a teens-only event, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the Springfield Public Library, 225 Fifth St.

The feature is "Music and Lyrics," a 2007 American romantic comedy with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. The movie is rated PG-13.

Free pizza and refreshments will be served, and teens can enter a raffle for prizes. Call 726-2237 for more information.

Two parts of the BRD (Blue-Ray Disc) See Blu-ray.  trilogy screen Sunday

DIVA's Great Directors seminar screens the last two installments of Rainer Werner Fassbinder's "BRD Trilogy" from the late 1970s and early '80s on Sunday afternoon. A day pass is $7.

At 1 p.m. is "Lola" (1981, 113 minutes). The movie is part two of the trilogy and offers a satiric homage to Josef von Sternberg's "The Blue Angel."

"Veronika Voss" (1982, 104 minutes) shows at 4 p.m. The conclusion of the trilogy is a stylized styl·ize

The 40-minute documentary, "Freedom on the Fence," is a 10-year labor of love for Andrea Marks, an associate professor in the Department of Art at OSU.

Marks started the project in 1998 with colleague Anka Kolodziej. The two received a grant from OSU to work on an exchange project.
