Deputies seek prisoner who escaped custody

Lane County sheriff's deputies are seeking a man they say walked away from custody at the Community Corrections Center in downtown Eugene late Thursday morning.

 Vindhurst III escaped the facility at 75 W. Fifth St. about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies said.
