Lancaster hires new city staffer

LANCASTER -- Michael Busch There are several articles about people named Michael Busch:

, an Indio city staff member, has been hired as an assistant city manager in Lancaster.

Busch will work in conjunction with Assistant City Manager Mark Bozigian and in development and operations. Now director of management services for Indio city government, Busch will join the Lancaster staff Feb. 12.

He will fill a slot left vacant by the retirement of Al Holliman, who left in August.

Busch has more than 10 years of local government experience, primarily in cities in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County. Before working in Indio, he served as a deputy city manager in Claremont for more than three years.

Busch has a bachelor's degree in urban and regional planning from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona History
