Inmate's term extended for threatening judge

A federal career criminal who wrote a threatening letter to U.S. District Judge Ann Aiken Ann L. Aiken (born December 29, 1951) is a United States District Court judge for the District of Oregon.

Aiken was born in Salem, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon in 1974, Rutgers University in 1976, and the University of Oregon School of Law in 1979.
 from his prison cell was sentenced Tuesday to an additional four years and three months behind bars.

Edward Louis Senay, 69, has a lengthy criminal record for assault and other crimes running back more than 40 years, according to according to

He pleaded guilty in August to mailing a threatening communication to Aiken. U.S. District Judge Michael Hogan Michael Hogan is the name of:

 ordered the new sentence to be served after Senay completes the prior federal sentence and after the prison terms he is serving in state prison for sex crimes. Senay is expected to remain in prison until he is more than 90 years old, according to court records.

A woman hit by a car while crossing a busy Eugene street died Monday, a week after the crash.
