Breakfast event to benefit Grace

LANCASTER - Grace Resource Center will benefit from a fundraising walk and pancake breakfast.

The Walk Against Hunger and pancake breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon May 20 at Clear Channel Stadium, on Avenue I at the Antelope Valley Freeway The Antelope Valley Freeway is a freeway in Los Angeles and Kern counties in southern California. It is signed as California State Highway 14 along its length. It connects Greater Los Angeles to the rapidly developing Antelope Valley. .

Every walker bringing in a minimum of $25 in paid pledges will receive a T-shirt, a pancake meal and a two-for-one coupon for that night's Lancaster JetHawks The Lancaster JetHawks are a minor league baseball team in Lancaster, California, USA. QUARTZ HILL - A Cinco de Mayo celebration will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at George Lane Park, 5520 W. Ave. L-8.

Featured will be games, crafts, refreshments and guest speaker Florencia Ruedas, a local resident whose family has been involved in Cinco de Mayo celebrations for decades. Admission is free.

Satellite campus to offer program

Lodge will host Youth Olympics

LANCASTER - Lancaster Elks Lodge 1625 will host its 58th annual Youth Olympics track meet for seventh- and eighth-graders from throughout the Antelope Valley.
