Suspects caught after ATM heists

 were arrested early Wednesday Wednesday: see week.  after people using ATM machines (Automatic Teller Machine machine) A banking terminal that accepts deposits and dispenses cash. ATMs are activated by inserting a cash or credit card that contains the user's account number and PIN on a magnetic stripe.  in Lancaster and Palmdale were held up at gunpoint, deputies said.

A deputy on patrol in Palmdale spotted a vehicle that resembled one described in a police radio broadcast after a robbery and stopped it, deputies said. Deputies said there were two ATM holdups in Lancaster and one in Palmdale.

Two adults and a juvenile were arrested. Their names were not immediately released. A gun was found in the vehicle, deputies said.
